The Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Serbia performs state administration tasks in accordance with the Law on State Administration and the Law on Ministries.
The Ministry’s responsibilities include state administration tasks in the areas of construction, construction land, urbanism, and spatial planning, including the organization, management, and use of the territory of the Republic of Serbia, determining conditions for building construction, regulating housing relations and housing operations, overseeing communal infrastructure and services, performing engineering geodesy tasks, as well as exercising inspection supervision in the fields of urbanism, construction, and communal infrastructure facilities.
The Ministry also performs state administration tasks in the fields of railway, road, water, and air transport. Within this scope, it organizes and ensures the functioning of the transport system, implements infrastructure construction projects and projects of particular importance in the field of civil engineering, manages domestic and international transport and intermodal transport, supervises technical and technological transport systems, resolves contractual and property-related issues, exercises inspection oversight, and develops strategies and planning documents for transport development.
The Ministry participates in shaping government policy, concludes and implements international agreements, engages in international cooperation within its scope, and ensures the harmonization of national legislation with European Union law. As a state administration body, the Ministry ensures the lawful operation of public services and promotes research and development in its areas of responsibility.
The Assembly of the City of Belgrade is the highest governing body of the city and represents the citizens of Belgrade. It holds legislative and oversight authority, making important decisions that shape the functioning and development of Serbia’s capital.

Meeting in the historic Old Palace in downtown Belgrade, the Assembly acts as a vital link between citizens and city government, contributing to the sustainable growth and efficient management of Belgrade.
Established in 2009 by the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Corridors of Serbia Ltd. is tasked with managing road infrastructure projects across Serbia. Its core responsibilities include performing investor duties in highway construction, organizing and executing expert tasks related to highway development, such as land acquisition, preparation of planning and project documentation, construction works, professional supervision, and overall planning of highway networks.
Corridors of Serbia plays a vital role in enhancing Serbia’s transport connectivity and supporting national economic growth through modern infrastructure development.

PUC Belgrade Metro and Train performs activities of general interest for the City of Belgrade in the field of urban and suburban land transportation of passengers. It is responsible for the construction and operation of passenger transportation by metro and the development of the city railway in Belgrade.
