What are we looking for?
Projects should demonstrate innovative ways in which tunnelling can contribute to preserving sustainable practices and addressing the evolving needs of society through advanced tunnelling techniques. These initiatives may involve cutting-edge research, innovative tunnelling projects, or actionable strategies that balance the needs of heritage conservation with modern infrastructure development.
Project eligibility
- International exhibitors with relevant projects in the region are welcome: The projects should be from the region, which likely includes countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Slovenia, and Turkey. Projects from other neighbouring countries are encouraged and will be considered on case by case basis.
- Completed within the last five years or currently ongoing: The projects should have concluded in the past five years , be substantially completed, or be approved and under construction at the time of the conference. This ensures the projects are relevant and reflect recent innovations and developments in the field.
- Highlighting recent innovations and new insights: Showcase new technologies, methodologies, or approaches in tunnelling and underground construction, providing valuable insights into how the industry is advancing in terms of safety, sustainability, and efficiency.
Participation requirements
To take part in the Project Showcase, please provide the following:
- Register for both days of the conference.
- Provide a video or PowerPoint presentation of the Project including key project details such as objectives, challenges, solutions, and outcomes.
- Branding materials aligned with the booth space.
Kindly note the availability is limited. The project selection will be based on project relevance, innovation, and its economic, social and environmental significance and impacts.

Submission guidelines
- Project Title and Abstract (max. 200 words) – Provide a concise summary of the project.
- Country – Indicate the country where the project is being implemented.
- Project Objectives and Expected Outcomes – Outline the goals and anticipated impact.
- Relevance to Tunnelling – Explain how the project contributes to tunnelling advancements.
- Image – Submit one relevant high-resolution image (JPG/PNG) under 2MB that best represents your project.

Please send your project proposal using the online form by 1 July 2025. Selected projects will be notified by 7 July 2025. All applicants will be informed of the outcome.

Exhibition area and booth layout
Space: The exhibition area at Sava Center will be organized to allow visitors to easily navigate between booths and explore all displays in detail. Booths will be grouped by countries that allow easier promotion of national delegations and enhance their visibility.
